We love helping schools to design and create outdoor learning environments that captivate pupils and which provide a rich learning environment for all ages. Many improvements can be made cheaply using the help of pupils, staff and volunteers from the local community. Bring curriculum subjects to life by introducing innovative and exciting resources outdoors to stimulate and reinforce learning. Learn ways to ensure the new facilities and resources stay useable for many years to come.
Make your school grounds into a haven for nature, and which will enthral and excite pupils and staff alike. We are particularly keen to work with the Woodland Trust to help plant woodlands in all school grounds - a wonderful way to create wildlife habitats and combat global warming! Build a pond, create a vegetable garden, establish a weather station, build a history trail...the options are endless, even with limited funding!
Learning outdoors can help to enrich and enhance the pupils’ knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of the natural world, and their respect for it. Outdoor learning can also develop the pupils’ sense of exploration, discovery, and wonder, and their fascination and inquisitiveness about the world. We want to foster in children a lifelong curiosity and love of learning, both in and out of school, and encourage them to explore, question, and investigate. If you would like help in developing your school grounds and using your outdoor space to its full potential, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
We aim to ensure that our services are accessible and affordable for all.

"With his high level of expertise and experience in educating children outside the classroom, Taff’s support, guidance, advice and training has been vital in helping our staff transform the outdoor environment and develop the curriculum to take full advantage of the benefits learning outside the classroom brings.
As well as supporting the outdoor learning lead and myself as headteacher to enhance the school grounds, his training course, the Creative Outdoor Learning Award (COLA), has been important in ensuring staff feel confident carrying out activities such as fire building and cooking outdoors in a safe and manageable way with children of all ages. Taff is extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about learning outside the classroom and he is very generous and supportive with his time. We could not have created such an engaging curriculum without his help"
